Beth and I have been married for over 32 years now (yes, to each other). We've worn out 3 dwellings, 4 cats, and many many pots and pans.
I earn a living by being a stagehand-sound mixer. Somehow I fell into this by being a bass player who always had to deal with the sound of the band. More on all of this on the Audios Amigos side of the web site.
Now, on to my wife. Beth is a real Beth, not an Elizabeth. There is a difference, you know. I met Beth in 1974, and knew that I wanted to marry here inside of two months. I proposed to her in Clearwater, FL on Christmas Eve of 1974, and we were married on April 5th of 1975. Beth originally wanted a "fall" wedding, but my suggestion of Halloween wasn't received very well. So a spring wedding it was.
We lived in a one bedroom flat for the first year, then moved to a two bedroom townhouse the next year, where we spent the next 10 years. In 1986, we purchased our first home on the west side of Columbus, and lived there until 2002. We currently live in Canal Winchester, OH (a suburb of Columbus).
While I was,and still am, traveling around the country, Beth had a career. After teaching in the Columbus Public School system, she retired at the end of the 1999-2000 school year. Thirty-one years of teaching elementary grades and middle school language arts was enough, and now she is enjoying a much deserved retirement.
